Owie Pillow Review

THE ORIGIN OF THE OWIE PILLOW:

It was February of 2006 and my husband and I were living in Scottsdale, Arizona. We had just found out I was pregnant and were ecstatic with joy! At the time, I was working as a pharmaceutical sales representative, which meant my “second home” was my vehicle. As the pregnancy went on and my stomach grew larger and larger, each day I found the seat belt incredibly bothersome. I was consistently pulling it away from my ever growing belly and trying to readjust so I could attempt to be more comfortable.

One day, the heat index hit 120 degrees, my feet were swollen, my skin was stinging from the sun and my seat belt rubbing against my belly – was absolutely all I could take. So what would any other normal pregnant woman do in these circumstances before the breakdown? Yes, drive to McDonald’s and indulge in a vanilla/chocolate swirl cone!
As I am licking my cone and enjoying the air conditioning, I had a thought – why don’t I make a pillow that would be flexible but prevent any pressure against my tummy, yet still enable me to wear my seatbelt….and this is how the Owie Pillow began.
