ReplyDeleteMy husband dropped his iphone while using it to job and the screen went blank. They said at the iphone store that the connection inside was lost. He had to get a new one.

ReplyDeletemy daughter was driving a "piece" car and had to climb out of the drivers seat by way of the passenger seat. Drivers door didn't work. she leaned over to get out the passengers side and dropped her cell in a glass of milk on the way to high school.

Mine fell in the bathtub once. I had to drain the tub to get the phone because I was afraid to put my hand in the tub!

ReplyDeleteThe day my husband and son brought their new Droids home, my husband was lecturing my son on taking care of his phone and the next thing we know my husband's phone went flying from his hand and landed in a sink full of water! Luckily my son has very quick reactions, grabbed the phone and it was put in rice for the next 24 hours. Worked fine!
ReplyDeleteI was texting my fiance during breakfast (something and bacon). When I went to get dressed, my dog thought that the smell of bacon on my phone was too irresistible. He ate part of the keypad and destroyed the screen. Imagine telling that to the insurance people!

ReplyDeleteSo, I was in my bathroom doing my hair... and I had Jango radio playing. I guess I got a little TOO into it. Because I ended up knocking my phone off the counter. It hit the scale that was on the floor... (I'd already cracked the screen once before. LONG STORY!!!) When I picked the phone up, there was a crack going from the top of the screen to the bottom. And it did this weird 'spiderweb' thing at the bottom! Thank God for contract updates!!! Upgraded yesterday!! LOL

ReplyDeleteLast year I dropped my phone for the first time, and it just cracked the screen a tiny little bit. Nothing too major; I could still use the phone. Phew! After a couple of days, however, the crack spread and the ink began to leak from inside the screen, until it eventually covered almost the whole thing. I ended up having to get a new phone. :-/ Luckily, I had Asurion to help me out.

ReplyDeleteMy son was so anxious (and hot) to jump into the swimming pool at his apartment complex that he didn't realize that he still had his phone in his cargo shorts pocket. Then when he got out after jumping right in, he heard his phone ringing strangely and at the same time he felt his leg burning. He then realized he had his phone in his pocket and the electronics were shorting-out due to the waterlog. :)
